Combining tradition and modernity to give birth to exclusive collections placing singularity and authenticity at the center of their creative process: this is the vision that motivated me to create the clothing and accessories brand MAISON SITOU.

My name is Samir DE DRAVO, from Benin, living in Paris. All my life I have been immersed in the world of fashion and luxury. Former Model and Personal Stylist, today Fashion Stylist at CHRISTIAN DIOR COUTURE, it was in March 2020, during the first lockdown that I had the click to finally carry out the project that I had been fine-tuning since 2018. After a back to basics and a call to Beninese ancestral craftsmanship, MAISON SITOU was then born on 8th June 2020. It is a hymn to softness, a good dose of fluidity, transparency and lightness, served through patterns and colors that proclaim the joy of living and Made In Africa excellence.

“Sitou” or “Sitù” means “Grace” among the Minȧ or Éwé, my mother’s ethnic group from Togo. Grace, like a blessing, then like a confident state of mind. This is what I want to share with every person who wears this brand. Entirely made in Benin to support youth employment, our pieces are part of an aesthetic approach that gives way to finesse, elegance and excellence. A clever mix of audacity and originality, our pieces are therefore unique, and will give grace and distinction to your look, while breaking the “ethnic” stereotypes attached to African brands.
